Frasier is turning 65, and we’re ready to celebrate! Since opening our doors in April 1960, we’ve been a cornerstone of Boulder—growing, evolving, and enriching lives along the way. What started as a simple idea—to create a welcoming community for seniors—has blossomed into a vibrant home for nearly 500 residents, supported by a dedicated team of 300+ incredible people.
It all began with a generous gift of 20 acres from Elmer and Mayme Frasier, and wow, have we grown! From one 100-unit independent living building to a thriving Life Plan Community offering a full continuum of care, Frasier has always been about connection, care, and a whole lot of heart.
And now, it’s time to celebrate this milestone—Frasier-style! Between April and October 2025, we’ll be hosting a lineup of fun, engaging, and inclusive events designed to bring everyone together, spark joy, and honor our shared history.
Meanwhile, here’s a sneak peek at some of the exciting events we have planned (with details to follow):
- April 16: 65th Anniversary celebration begins! It will be “1960’s Fashion Day” for residents and team members. Mid-week break will be in The Canyons Center, featuring a fashion show with a band at 2:30 pm. Afterwards, join us for a themed dinner in South Fork.
- May: “Timeless Tales: 65 Years in the Making”
- July/August: “Fill in the Fun: 65 Years of Memories” resident activities designed for story sharing.
- August 6: “Al Fresco 65” dinner for all residents with music and delicious food.
- September 7: “Neighborhood Block Party” We will invite the congregation of Mountain View United Methodist Church and the neighbors to join Frasier residents, team members, and families for a fun event.
