"Prior to moving here my wife and I thoroughly investigated similar retirement communities and Frasier Meadows was head and shoulders above the rest. We have lived here twelve years and know for certain that we made the right choice." - Ty

Frasier Meadows offers a continuum of care - an approach to retirement living for people who wish to continue active, independent lifestyles while providing in advance for future health and personal care needs. Frasier Meadows offers a high degree of independence and peace of mind.
Frasier Meadows has a variety of unique apartments, an on-site Health Care Center, scheduled transportation, a full activity program and many conveniences and services necessary for a gracious lifestyle.

Frasier Meadows enters into a Membership Agreement with its Members which provides residence, health care and the use of the campus facilities and services for Life. Members are assured emergency care and recuperative or long-term use of the Health Care Center and its services.
Members have priority for admission to the Health Care Center and Assisted Living Center and receive services at preferred rates.

When you become a Frasier Meadows Member, each apartment receives 30 days per year at the Health Care Center in a semi-private room at no additional cost.
During the 30-day recuperative period in the Health Care Center, the Member continues to pay only his monthly apartment charge. After 30 days, the Member continues to pay his apartment charge and a reduced daily rate in the Health Care Center.
When a Member releases his apartment and requires permanent residence in the Health Care Center, his monthly charge becomes the preferred rate for Members.

If the Member is a single occupant, the residence will be made available for re-occupancy. If there are two occupants, the remaining Member's monthly charge changes to the single-occupancy rate.

Frasier Meadows is not for everyone. However, most middle and upper-middle income people can afford the continuing care.
It is important to remember how much is included in the fees at Frasier Meadows. Many items that you pay for now will be covered when you become a Member: apartment, weekly housekeeping and flat laundry services, all utilities (except telephone), schedule transportation, emergency health services, recreation and entertainment, cable television, property taxes, and maintenance of your apartment and the building and grounds.

Frasier Meadows maintains the Membership Fee Reserves as required by the State of Colorado. The financial records of Frasier Meadows are audited annually by an independent CPA firm, and the resulting report is available to interested applicants and Members.

Yes! The Resident Council, as specified in the bylaws, acts in an advisory capacity to the Administration and the Board of Trustees.
A Resident Trustee is a voting member of the Board of Trustees and acts as a direct liaison between the Members and the Board. Frasier Meadows has an active system of 35 committees that attend to various aspects of life within our community.

The Health Care Center is licensed by the state of Colorado as a 108-bed skilled nursing facility, which means we have RNs, LPNs and CNAs available 24/7 to assist those whose needs require around the clock care.

Anyone can come to the Health Care Center. While we do honor our commitment to offer beds to the Frasier Meadows members first, we often have space available for members of the larger community.

Frasier Meadows has its own on-site therapy department staffed with physical, occupational and speech therapists who can work under a variety of pay sources.

The Health Care Center works with private pay, Medicare and Medicaid clients.

The therapy department can work with residents under Medicare part B to provide some on-going therapies. For those who don't meet the Medicare part B requirement, the Heath Care Center has a restorative exercise program, run by CNAs who are supervised by the therapy department. This program is included in the room and board cost.

All our staff are familiar with working with elders whose cognitive abilities may be changing. For those elders whose dementia may include wandering, a pronounced need for cognitively appropriate programming or other behavioral issues, we have a 14-bed secure unit and a 13-bed wandergaurded unit that specialize in dementia care.

Yes. The Health Care Center accepts respite stays of 5 or more days as space is available and works with local hospice organizations on a regular basis.

The Health Care Center has both private and semi-private rooms. Our semi-private rooms are designed in a unique "y" shape, allowing residents to share an entryway and bathroom while maintaining separate living areas. These private spaces, divided by a wall, provide each roommate with his or her own window, telephone and TV hook-up.
