On April 1, 1960, the first residents of then Frasier Meadows Manor moved in and our mission was launched – to help seniors enjoy independent and fulfilling lives. Frasier, as we are now known, celebrated our 60th anniversary with several activities peppered throughout the last year.
Just like Boulder over the last six decades, Frasier has continued to evolve. Our campus has grown from a simple 100-unit independent living building, to what it is today: a vibrant Life Plan retirement community of nearly 500 seniors and a dedicated staff of over 300.
Through many expansions, having survived the Flood of 2013, and most recently the COVID pandemic, Frasier has met and overcome many challenges – making us stronger and more steadfast in our mission.
COVID interrupted our plans for celebrating our 60th anniversary with large-scale in-person events. But we weren’t going to let that stop us honoring this milestone – safely! So we pivoted, and did many activities virtually, or physically distanced with limited capacity within our campus. One of those virtual items is a 60th anniversary commemorative video:
Join us in celebrating our past and watch us inspire the next 60 years of our future. We hope you enjoy watching Frasier evolve over the years and see how we truly live our motto – “Boulder is a better place because Frasier is here.”
