Join Dr. Huntington Potter, for this enlightening discussion: “Alzheimer’s Disease Research: Are We Getting Closer to a Cure?”
What is the latest news on Alzheimer’s disease research? Are scientists getting closer to finding treatments, and possible cures for this and other neurodegenerative diseases? What are the conversations we should be having with our doctors?
Dr. Huntington Potter, director of the Rocky Mountain Alzheimer’s Disease Center (RMADC) at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, will be addressing these and other questions about brain diseases that affect memory on
- March 27 at 7:30pm in the Assembly Room of Frasier, 350 Ponca Place, Boulder
The RMADC has a dual mission, dedicated to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease through research, and also to provide top-quality medical care for dementia patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region in partnership with UCHealth.
There is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease yet, but researchers around the world, including in Colorado, are looking for answers. RMADC is a site for clinical trials for drugs that are under investigation, and for important observational studies, to find out more about these very complex brain diseases.
